  • Travel vaccines and health advice
  • Routine blood and urine tests
  • Dressings
  • Cervical smears

Maternity Services

Women needing to arrange the first booking appointment should log on to to register. Once you are registered you can expect to be contacted by a member of the team within 3 working days to arrange your first midwife appointment. 

  If you need further help or are unable to access the online service you can phone the booking line on 01422 261351 or 01484 355731 and leave a message. The team will respond within 3 working days.


Contraceptive Services

We offer full contraceptive services including the fitting of coils and emergency contraception.  Appointments are given in normal surgeries.

Cervical Screening

The practice nurse carries out cervical screening for women aged between 25 and 64.

Child Health Promotion

We monitor the health, well-being and development of children under the age of 5.  A clinic  is held on Tuesday afternoon from 1.00pm for baby medical examinations  and immunisations with the doctor and Practice nurse.  These are by appointment only.  The Health Visiting Team now run drop in clinics in local locations.  Please ask reception for further details.


Blood Samples (phlebotomy)

We will offer to take all necessary samples at the practice but you can instead choose to attend a hospital clinic or the evening Hub at Rastrick Health Centre by pre-booked appointment.

Older Patients

If you are 75 years of age or older and have not had a consultation in the last 12 months, you may ask for a health check to be carried out. If, due to your health, you are unable to attend surgery, this health check may be carried out in your home.
