Cervical Screening invitations / results
Cervical Screening invitations are going Digital!
To make it quicker and easier for you to get invited for cervical screening, your invitations will now arrive via the NHS and text messages.
What if you don’t have the NHS App or can’t receive text messages?
Don’t worry – you will still get a paper letter as a failsafe back up.
It’s as simple as that!
This change will hopefully make the screening process smoother and more convenient for you. You can find more about the NHS app here by clicking here: Getting started with the NHS App - NHS App help and support - NHS
Cervical Screening results
Those who have a negative test result will be notified of this by an NHS App message. It will also appear as an NHS App notification. If the NHS App message isn’t read within 72 hours, a letter will be sent as a failsafe. Abnormal result letters will continue for the time being to be delivered by post.
